Illinois Treatment Works is a resource for communicating about adolescent substance abuse treatment in Illinois. The website was developed from the Illinois State Adolescent Coordinator (SAC) grant.  The IL-SAC grant was awarded to the Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, and funded by the Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Center for Substance Abuse Treatment to improve the infrastructure for substance abuse treatment for adolescents.

Families can find information on how substance abuse affects their children, locate services, share their experiences, and get involved locally and statewide. Providers can find information on the latest trainings, find up-to-date information on substance abuse treatment, and find ways to get involved in shaping the landscape of substance abuse treatment in the state of Illinois.

Co-Occurring Dialogues is an Electronic Discussion List that represents an expansion of the services offered by the CSAT Treatment Improvement Exchange on the Web. The List was developed and established by the Division of State and Community Assistance (DSCA), and specifically focuses on issues related to dual diagnosis (defined for the purposes of this activity as a mental disorder and substance abuse). In addition, a special topics page on the TIE Forum is devoted to resources and information on these issues.
