The Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (DASA) has funded the Illinois Co-Occurring Center for Excellence to provide training, technical assistance, and consultation to funded and non-funded licensed DASA agencies that provide dual diagnosis treatment. The Institute was founded in 1999 and is a part of the Heartland Training Center for Human Service Excellence at Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights.
